Named one of the Most Influential Georgians for 2018, 2017 and 2016 by James Magazine, R&R Owner Ed Richardson was a producer for Turner’s Entertainment Group at Cartoon Network, TBS and Turner South for a decade, prior to founding R&R in 2004. Richardson has produced, line produced and production managed feature length films and teleplays, executive produced television series content as well as countless commercial projects for blue chip brands.
As a founding Owner/Operator of Atlanta Metro Studios, Richardson’s 404 Studio Partners conceived and developed AMS (which includes the two largest purpose built sound stages in North America) and created and ran all Sales, Marketing and Operations, building and running the business pipeline with clients including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Marvel / 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Pictures, CBS, NETFLIX, EFO Films, Amblin Entertainment and HBO.
Also the Principal of Chastain Film Capital, a film fund established to underwrite the cost of scripting and production funding for auteur-driven content based on existing literary works as well as non-fiction based intellectual property, Richardson is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the American Film Institute and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta and Louisiana State University.
